Special Olympics 2022-2023

Highland West is a proud participant in Special Olympics, each year our student athletes have the opportunity to compete in Bowling, Basketball and Track & Field. With the support of our school, coaches and student helpers we are able to give these special athletes an opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience being on a team and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athlete's and the community. Our Special Olympic coaches appreciate the support that Highland West Junior High  students, families and faculty show these special athletes in their attempt to "Bring home the Gold"!
