    The purpose of this organization shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship. We induct new members in the spring. 7th grade students who have a GPA of 3.5 and who meet the qualifications as outlined in the NJHS bylaws are invited to join. Students must then accept the invitation and go through induction to be considered a member. Students must continue meeting the qualifications to be a member in good standing. National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society
