Information

  •      The National Honor Society (NHS) is a service organization that elevates our  school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character through academics and volunteerism. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921.

Southmoore's chapter of the National Honor Society has been active since the school's inception in 2008. There have been more than 2800 members involved in our NHS chapter since we began. Our chapter is limited to juniors and seniors who have at least a 3.5 overall GPA. Each year, new members are invited in March and inducted in April.
